Tailgate: Recap| Monday, November 11, 2002
And it's over! A fine time was had by all attendees, especially those who started at 2:30 for the 6:45 game. Lots of us old geezers, and some little shavers, too: it seems the younger Zetes are going in for procreation in a big way.
Sadly, the football team took a hard 41-24 loss. After rallying to tie at 17-17 from 17-3 at the half, a series of horrendous turnovers gave Michigan 28 unanswered points, including two first-play touchdowns in a row. Ow.
Derek Fessler, Dave Picullel, Chris Gregory and Brian Cartier seem to be in charge of the show, and vow to make it an annual event. Wisconsin was mentioned as a good bet for next year's game. With the homecoming pancake breakfast, that makes two annual Zete events. Now we need to work on a third!
