Grand Old Days| Monday, May 13, 2002
Next TAZ event is on Sunday, June 2, the traditional Grand Old Days party at the Kennedy manse. We'll be leaving the house to walk the 5 blocks to the Avenue for the parade. We always park ourselves just east of the Lexington Restaurant. Then we go east to Dale and back, and repair to the house to start partying, maybe 2:30 or 3:00. Catch up with us anywhere. The address is 201 South Lexington Pky. It is 1.1 mile south of the Lexington exit from I-94 E or W, or 0.7 miles north of the Randolph exit from 35E going north, or you can take 35E south to the St. Clair exit and head east to Lexington, then north 1/2 block to the house.
Remember there's a parade on Grand Ave, so don't plan on a long delay if you try to cross it after 10:00. We expect Ayd Mill Road to be open. Parking is usually available around the house until 11:00 or so. We'll leave the house for the parade at around 10:00 a.m. If you want to find us on Grand, call the phone number above.
